This webinar introduces the use of low cost bio-engineering to restore streams and improve meadow hydrology.
Example techniques for arresting head-cuts, induced meandering, and collecting sediments to raise the streambed and improve hydrology are provided. This is an introductory course that raises awareness to possible low cost alternatives for stream, wetland, and meadow restoration.
This webinar is sponsored by the USDA NRCS West National Technology Support Center.
