This webinar raises the viewer’s awareness of freshwater mussels (aka freshwater clams), their decline in North America, their life history requirements, and the important ecological role they play in aquatic habitats. In addition, viewers learn about a number of practical actions land managers and planners can take to help protect freshwater mussel populations and habitat.
