Participants will learn to identify common fall protection hazards, along with the OSHA requirements and general guidelines for various fall protection systems in common use.
Falls are among the most common causes of serious work related injuries and deaths. Each year, falls account for approximately one-third of the total construction fatalities. The vast majority of these deaths are easily preventable. Contractors can prevent these deaths and injuries by planning how to accomplish their above ground work safely, providing the proper fall protection equipment and training all workers to use the equipment safely. This webinar focuses on the most likely fall protection issues facing contractors and landowners completing conservation and other water resources projects.
This webinar is presented by USDA NRCS Science and Technology.
