Participants will have a better understanding of the unique difficulties presented and the opportunities provided to solve resource concerns on outdoor swine operations.
There are unique difficulties in applying conservation on outdoor swine operations. Hogs do not graze like other livestock. Their rooting activity can cause severe environmental damage. Typical conservation measures, in many cases, are ineffective. This webinar will introduce participants to conservation practices and strategies that can be considered when assisting producers with their outdoor swine operation.
This webinar is presented by the USDA NRCS East National Technology Support Center.
