This course will help you learn how air quality, climate change, and energy are interrelated and integral to USDA's missions and goals.
The course is designed for audiences both internal and external to USDA, including Extension, Conservation Districts, environmental groups, and Technical Service Providers. At the completion of this course, you will be able to
- Define air quality, climate change, and energy, and explain how they are interrelated
- Explain the importance of these issues for land managers
- Recognize how conservation planning affects and is affected by energy and climate change
- Identify examples of how air quality, climate change, and energy apply to agricultural conservation
This training is sponsored by the USDA NRCS National Air Quality and Atmospheric Change Team and the National Energy Team.
A quiz is implemented by this site so you can earn CEUs and a participation certificate. You can take the quiz as many times as needed to receive a passing score of 80%. This training is offered to USDA employees and those with eAuthentication accounts at USDA’s AgLearn training site. For those without an eAuthentication account (e.g., the general public), USDA has made this version available through ConservationWebinars.net.
